Considering Dual Enrollment for the First Time?
We want to make this process as easy as possible for you and your family. Take a moment to watch the informational videos below:
Dual Enroll for Fall 2023 Classes
Once you have parent and school approval, apply online (see tutorial), download and save the registration form to your computer before opening it with adobe reader (other apps make more work). Resave the completed form, then attach it to an email to precollege@andrews.edu or upload it into your application, along with a transcript and test scores (if applicable, see details on form).
Find Classes Pre-Approved for Dual Enrollment
If you've discussed taking a class not on the pre-approved list, email before completing the registration form. Include any emails with the instructor so we can request departmental approval if you have completed any prerequisite classes or tests.
Find Main Campus Classes in this Schedule
Note that our Andrews Honors program (Sages) is open to high school seniors with a GPA of 3.5+ and (if taken) ACT (Math & Reading) total of 1200+ or ACT composite of 25+. Visit the Sages Handbook for details. HONS 105 & 115 are choices for Fall, HONS 106 & 215 in Spring (one per semester, with no other university classes while taking these intense honors classes).
Find Synchronous and Asynchronous Online Classes Here
Thanks to COVID, some online classes will continue to be offered in a format requiring you to attend class at specific times several days a week, via zoom video conferencing. Bringing classes transitioned rapidly to remote delivery up to online standards, synchronous online classes are a great addition for young and auditory learners able to meet at specific class times. MATH 191 Calculus and RELG 160 Love 101 continue, and others may be added yet for Fall
Interactive online classes continue in asynchronous format, not requiring attendance at any specific class times, but with deadlines several times a week. If you have earned A or B grades in four or more Andrews online classes already, email to request permission to take another 100 or 200 level interactive online class listed here.
